The animal movement and depiction of the natural world is stunning and incredibly lifelike, although up close Animals looks oddly blocky and unfinished, as if they ran out of funding to finish details like the fur.

Additionally, the story feels too vague and disconnected from the ensuing narrative, meaning that some of the environments you go through bear little resemblance to video game levels dreamed up to look good but convey nothing meaningful about the wider world.
It’s worth a look
However, the film’s immersive details and sheer FLOW almost make up for these shortcomings, keeping them engaged and entertained to the hilt.
